Oscars 2009: On the stage

The biggest event in Hollywood, the 81st Annual Academy Awards, got off to a thumping start with the host of the evening, Hugh Jackman entertaining the audience with song and dance.
He was joined by Best Actress nominee Anne Hathaway (she can sing too!), whom he picked up (literally) for a duet based on Frost/Nixon. 'Confess to me,' he sings to her. The talented host also paid tribute to Meryl Streep's 15 career Oscar nominations, attributing the feat to 'Steroids'.
