You also helped in writing your scenes in Ashta Chamma… Do you want to script films in future too?
I think all the credit should duly go to Mohan. It is a wonderfully written script. May be, I came up with ideas at a few places during the shoot or the dubbing but 99% of the lines were his.
Yes, I do have plans to write and direct films. In fact, I am working on one right now.
Could you talk about your experience of working with a National Award-winning director like Mohankrishna?
Mohan is a great person to work with. He comes to the sets with so much energy and confidence that you cannot but absorb some of it. He has a refined taste and has a deep understanding of world cinema and literature and yet leaves his mark when he makes his movies. He and I have a lot in common and we always had fun time during the breaks discussing Woody Allen and Groucho Marx with the rest of the cast. I think some of that whackiness has carried on to the screen as well.
