'I will give up my job to pursue my career in films'

How was your interaction with the others -- Swati, Nani and Bhargavi?

Swathi was very friendly from day one and she helped me warm up to the atmosphere very quickly. You cannot just quietly sit in a corner when she is around.

Nani and I might have looked like queer friends on screen but we are dear friends off-screen and that put us at ease with one another while acting.

By the time Bhargavi joined the shoot, we had already shot half the film and I was a little comfortable with the shooting atmosphere. She was completely professional and understands what is needed from her very well.

On the whole, what would you like to say about the Ashta Chamma experience?

It was a wonderful experience. I am proud to be a part of a film that is churning big monies at the box office and also is one of the cleanest entertainers to have come out in the last few years. It has exceeded all our expectations.

Apart from creative satisfaction, I had the opportunity to get acquainted with a few bigwigs in the industry, too. I heard a lot of things about the film world but my experience is that film industry is one of the most professional, efficient and rewarding place to work for.

You may already be flooded with offers to act…Would you want to give up your job to pursue acting full time if necessary, or do you propose to juggle both?

Yes, I will give up my job to pursue my career in films (not just acting) but I don't want to be hasty in making any decisions.
