How did you manage to shoot for Ashta Chamma given the fact that you work in Princeton?
After graduating, I did not want to take up a 9-5 job. God had answered my prayers and I ended up with a 7-5 job in the south.
Previously, I had done a screenwriting diploma in UCLA and wanted to move to NYC to go to evening film school.
Around the time Ashta Chamma went to the floors, I was offered a job in Princeton (commutable distance to NYC). I left my job in the south and shot for Ashta Chamma before joining my new job.
It is a coincidence that I auditioned for the movie in NYC the same day I was interviewed for Princeton. I'm just trying to recollect which side of the bed I woke up that day!
In Ashta Chamma you displayed an innate 'comedian' ability. Comedy requires a certain sense of timing. How did you manage this?
I don't know how to answer that. I think I just did what I could and it worked out.
