Helga Brandt
Pretending to play the part of the pretty coy secretary to prominent industrialist Mr Osato (who is, in reality, an agent of SPECTRE), Brandt, was one of the most unlikely villains pitted against Bond, in You Only Live Twice. Played by Karin Dor, Brandt was a SPECTRE operative herself.
Ignoring numerous obvious chances to kill him, she chose to be seduced by him instead, trying to kill him later by trapping him in a plane set on a crash course.
How she meets her end
Ultimately fed up with her lack of success, she was fed to a tank teeming with hungry piranha by SPECTRE's leader Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
