How did you conceive the title, Phoonk?
I got the name from a word called 'jhaad phoonk', which is supposed to mean black magic. I liked the sound of the word and hence the title.
Is Phoonk similar to Bhoot?
I think Phoonk is scarier. Bhoot jolts you out of your seat but then makes you laugh. Phoonk will make you carry the fear home. I will put some disclaimers for weak-hearted viewers because I truly believe this will be very scary.
What effort have you put in to make it so scary?
I think the way it has been shot, the way I have created moments, the actors' performances and the believability factor. When you go home, every object will scare you. You will not feel safe in your own home.
