'Sudeep has done his homework for Phoonk'

Why did you cast Kannada actor Sudeep in Phoonk?

I have seen his films and liked his performances. When I was writing the film, I felt that he was right for the character.

He has been in Mumbai for a few years, so he knows Hindi. He worked very hard and managed to get the lines right. He has done his homework.
