Mumbai's Hyatt Regency saw an unlikely pair of celebrities coming together -- Aamir Khan and Rakhi Sawant.
Aamir was due to appear on the item girl's new chat show, called The Rakhi Sawant Show, as her first guest.
As the duo shot for the show, which premieres on July 14, Nithya Ramani was there to catch them in action.
What made you accept Rakhi's invitation to the show?
Aamir: Rakhi sent me a letter requesting me to be the first guest of her show. It touched me, so I accepted it. I have seen her on television many times and I like her spirit. I think she is very bold.
Why did you choose Aamir as your first guest?
Rakhi: I am hosting a show for the first time, and I wanted him to open my show. I think he is a person with whom hits are associated. Every film he works in is bound to be a hit.
Aamir: Well, I think she doesn't need me. She is a very good host and very entertaining. It was a pleasure working with her on this show.
What do you think is the similarity between the two of you?
Aamir: Rakhi will be able to answer that better.
Rakhi: Both of us are controversial. We are same, but different.
Aamir: The media loves both of us too.
What advice did you give Imran for his debut in Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na?
Aamir: Not only Imran, but everyone has worked really hard on this film. I am happy with the way the film has shaped up. We hope that the audiences like it.
