For a not-so-hot cast of Jayasurya-Kalabhavan Mani-Roma, Shakespeare MA Malayalam managed to do fairly good business at the box office.

For Jayasurya, who had made a rather surprising career decision by being part of a highly forgettable De Ingottu Nokkiye, Shakespeare MA should be a welcome relief.

The same could be said of Kalabhavan Mani, who suddenly seems to have lost his magic touch with the successive failures of Swarnam, Kerala Police and Andavan.

As for debutant duo Shyju-Shaji, life couldn't be sweeter.
