This is a true winner of the year so far considering the fact that it earned more than what was spent on making it.
Though Cycle had a rather ordinary story, it was successful because of it's hero Vineeth Sreenivasan (son of actor-writer Sreenivasan), the singer who made his acting debut with this film.
Though Vineeth's histrionic skills are nothing to write home about, the audience seemed to lap up his attempts to emulate his illustrious father.
Plus, there was a certain simplicity and an overall honesty in how the film was made with the absence of big stars, which made it's success even sweeter.
