Rajamouli is the 'king' of masala movies with a high success quotient. He is perhaps one of the few directors whose movies have been runaway hits. He is able to judge the pulse of the audience and churn out tremendous hits. On an average, he makes a movie a year.

Like Jagan who worked with Ravi Teja thrice, Rajamouli too shares an excellent rapport with NTR Jr, having directed him in Student No 1, Simhadri and the more recent Yamadonga.

In a hero-centric industry, Rajamouli first chooses a hero and then works on the screenplay. An avid reader of fiction, Rajamouli draws his ideas from novels and fantasy. He has the able support of his family when it comes to films.

His movies are for the masses as they are filled with action, romance, and emotions in their raw form. So at times they may be over the top. His main aim is to entertain and he does so with elan. Technically, Rajamouli's movies are sound.

Rajamouli is slated to direct Ram Charan Tej (Chiranjeevi's son) second movie.
