Owner of the now defunct Damania Airlines, Pervez Damania's life is probably as interesting as a Bollywood film.
He started out as a poultry farmer. He then shifted gears and formed Damania Airlines. He sold that in some years, and started a construction company. His next stop was Bollywood, where he has started his own film production house called One More Thought Entertainment.
Pervez partners his company with Azam Khan, a veteran in the film industry, who has been involved with films like Sarkar, D, Risk, Golmaal, Partner, Darna Mana Hai, Ek Haseena Thi and Ab Tak Chappan.
Parvez's office in Andheri, a Western suburb in Mumbai, is styled like a Bollywood set as well. As you enter, you see a mannequin at the foot of a staircase and another one on your right.
Huge mirrors follow you everywhere. The floor is made of copper. A railway track leads up to the metal staircase. On the first floor, there is a huge portrait of Amitabh Bachchan.
Inside Damania's office, one wall wears a padded look, while a large clock stands against another.
Seated comfortably in the beautiful office, Damania tells us his Bollywood plans.
