As talented as Jackman is on-stage and onscreen, he's quite remarkable off it as well.
In 1996, he married Deborra-Lee Furness, who he met on the set of his first Australian television series. Interestingly, the couple's wedding rings have an Indian connection: Sanskrit inscriptions that read 'Om paramar mainamar.'
The couple has adopted two children, Oscar Maximillian and Ava Eliot, and lives in Sydney, where they're close friends of fellow Aussie superstar Nicole Kidman and her musician husband Keith Urban.
Jackman is also known for his philanthropic efforts, including his support of 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner and microcredit guru Muhammed Yunus of Bangladesh.
