National award winning cinematographer K V Anand is back in circulation.
The Tamil filmmaker whose directorial debut Kana Kandein won him laurels galore, is currently shooting for his new film, Ayan, which he had to put on hold, as he was busy with the Tamil blockbuster Sivaji: The Boss.
Now, after two years, Anand is starting work on Ayan. Produced by AVM, which also produced the Rajnikanth starrer, Ayan stars Surya and Tamanna.
Anand spoke exclusively to rediff.com about the film. Excerpts:
