The actor has found a certain kind of balance -- doing both serious and comedy roles with ease. It also helps that he has the 'boy next door' looks.
The actor talks to Vijay about his films both old and new. Excerpts:
You are sporting a different look for Calcutta News. How did this happen?
(Smiles) Ajith Thomas, my character in the film, is a reporter who has been born and brought up in Kolkata even though he is a Malayali by birth.
We decided on this look to give the character a modern style and also the feel of an intellectual.
