Nadeem-Shravan
When Bollywood faced a a dry spell of melody in the action-driven 90, a musical joint venture by the name of Nadeem Shravan came to its rescue.
Their magnificent lovey-dovey ditties in Mahesh Bhatt's Aashiqui (Nazar ke saamne, Jaane jigar, Main duniya bhoola doonga, Dheere dheere se), Sadak (Tujhe apna banane ki, Hum tere bin kahin reh nahi paate) and Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin (Dil hai ki manta, Tu pyaar hai kisi aur ka) and Lawrence D'Souza love triangle Saajan (Dekha hai pehli baar, Bahut pyaar karte hai, Tu shayar hai, Jeeyein to jeeye) turned Nadeem-Shravan into household names. In fact, their picture graced pretty much every single album they recorded for.
The prolific duo's golden run came to an halt after Nadeem Khan's tryst with the law over T-Series baron, Gulshan Kumar's assassination case. While he chose to remain in UK, his other half Shravan decided to concentrate on his son's budding career.
