Making beautiful music together

Jatin-Lalit

Remember Bin tere sanam from an obscure film called Yaara Dildara? The film may have been a loser, but Jatin and Lalit Pandit's music was not.

Soon enough, the brothers who are heavily inspired by their idol Rahul Dev Burman, made an impact with the Valentine's Day favourite, Pehla nasha (Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander) and campus rage, Khud ko kya samajhti hai (Khiladi).

Oddly enough, despite composing super hit soundtracks for films like Aditya Chopra's Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (Tujhe dekha to, Ruk ja, Mehendi lagake rakhna) and Karan Johar's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (Koil mil gaya, Kuch kuch hota hai, Ladki badi anjaani hai), the duo are surprisingly underrated.

After collaborating on several hit soundtracks like Khamoshi-The Musical, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Sarfarosh, Ghulam, Yes Boss, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and finally Fanaa, the brothers decided to go separate ways and concentrate on their independent careers.
