How has the newfound fame affected you?

I'm the same easygoing girl who likes going out shopping and meet friends.

What's next for you?

I'm in college right now. I've joined my college hockey team; we had a match just a few days ago. For the moment I'm focusing on studies and sports. But if I do get a film from a great banner with a very different role, I'll surely do it.

What do you make of the fans' reaction to you and the film?

People always tell me that they love Komal Chautala. They tell me how different I look in real life, that they like my new look. It really feels great to be recognised.

I've been playing hockey long before I did Chak De. In fact, I got my role in Chak De because I'm a hockey player. So I think it's great that I represent the Indian sportswoman.
