LHow did you get into Tamil films?
I really wanted to concentrate only in Malayalam film when an opportunity to work in a good Tamil film came to me.
I was not very keen to do any Tamil film as I was doing very well in Malayalam ones.
My first film Azhagiya Theeye, was produced by Prakash Raj sir. The film's director Radha Mohan flew to my house in Alleppey to narrate the story and I couldn't say no. Then I worked in Thangar Bachchan's Chidambaraththil Oru Appasamy and Aadam Kooththu directed by T V Chandran.
Is there any truth in the rumours that you do not get along with Meera Jasmine, who is considered your rival?
There's no rivalry between Meera Jasmine and me. I have some good acquaintances in the industry and Meera is one of them.
