Actor Sudeep likes to take risks. When he turned producer, he made Swathimuththu, a remake of Kamal Hassan's hugely popular Telugu film Swathimuthyam.
An action hero then, the industry laughed at Sudeep's audacity in remaking Swatimuthyam. But the actor had the last laugh when the film became a hit. Even Kamal Hassan had a word of praise for Sudeep.
Spurred by the film's success, Sudeep then made My Autograph based on Cheran's Autograph. It too became a silver jubilee hit.
Now, he hopes he will be third time lucky with his next venture -- 73, Shanthi Nivasa. What's risky about this one, you say? Well, there are no heroines in this film!
