To Darshan's crazy fans, February 16 is far bigger than the Mahashivarathri festival that falls on the same date. The reason? It's the star's birthday.
Not only will Darshan launch Bhadra, to be directed by debutant Madesha on the 16th, but his 25th film Bhoopathy will release on the same day. An eventful birthday indeed!
Last year too saw a Darshan release on his birthday -- Suntaragaali which did not work as expected at the box office. But his 25th film will be different, says the actor experimenting with a new look for the film directed by Govindoo. "I have not played such a character before. It's the story of the bond between a frank and fearless youngster and his loving grandfather. While the grandfather believes in values and tradition, I play an irresponsible youngster who does not mince words while expressing his opinion."
