'I'm open to any kind of role'

What made you sign the film?

When I heard the title I thought it would be a good project. Although it is based on a Telugu novel, suitable changes have been made in the screenplay like for instance, the climax. The packaging of the film is good too. Sneha has taken off from where Soundarya left. Also, a film with Suresh Productions was long overdue. So everything fell into place.

This is your first film with Chandra Siddhartha. How is he as a director?

Chandra is an introvert; he is quiet and relaxed. But he knows what to get out from me on a few occasions, which was surprising. I have been collaborating on this project as Rama Naidu allowed me to sit in the story sessions. I have also helped to design the small and only action sequence in the film.

What is the highlight of the film?

Most movies before Madhumasam have been loud, noisy, hard-hitting and 'massy'. We hope that there will be a shift from that with Madhumasam.

Could you relate to the character you are playing?

In every character, there is something similar to real life. There are moments in life where I think like the hero of Madhumasam. Also, the dialogues are in Telugu mixed with English or Hindi words. I also speak English mixed with Telugu and Hindi words.
