One of Springfield's true celebrities, this jewish television clown seems to have tasted former glory -- and lots of illegal substances in the 1960s. He remains a debauched bastion of Hollywoody excess, reduced to tantrums in a town too small.
Bart is a massive fan of his TV show, its highpoint being The Itchy & Scratchy Show, an ultraviolent variant of Tom & Jerry.
