Thanks to Desperate Housewives, British actress Nicollette Sheridan is one of the hottest actresses on television. On the Hollywood radar ever since People magazine featured her in the '50 Most Beautiful' list in 1990, it is commonly known that Sheridan is a vegetarian, speaks fluent Greek and is stepdaughter to actor Telly Savalas.
But, did you ever suspect she had Indian blood?
The actress, engaged to popstar Michael Bolton, proudly declared at the Bollywood Music Awards at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City on Saturday, November 4, that her grandmother ('the most spiritual person I have known') was the daughter of an Indian immigrant. She also mentioned planning to visit India for over a decade, adding that she would definitely do so next year as her best friend, an Indian, will have her daughter's wedding formalised there.
