You are also doing Sathya Harischandra with Upendra. Apparently you are playing Surya's role in this Kannada remake of Pithamagan?
We have just completed one schedule of Sathya Harischandra; the second schedule is in June. I had a great time working with Upendra Sir. I urged him to return to film direction as I am a great fan of his films like OM and A. I watch these films whenever I can. I think Sathya Harischandra will be a very good effort, as the film has a lot of people with a very high energy levels working for it.
The buzz is that your role in Thangigaagi (remake of Thirupachchi) will suit you perfectly.
I did not see the Tamil film when I signed Thangigaagi. But I saw the film before we started shooting and the film certainly inspired me. We have just returned after finishing a song sequence in Amsterdam. Let us hope that this film works like Majestic, Shashtri and Daasa did.
