What about your chemistry with Nisha Kothari?
Nisha brought something very fresh to the film. She is a great girl. Considering a script where 60 per cent of the film revolves around two guys in a taxi, it was interesting how the directors brought in chemistry and a romantic angle.
This sounds like a clean film; is it the first where you leave your Serial Kisser legacy behind?
It is not a clean film. Whether there is a kiss or not -- you need to watch the film to figure that out. If you are talking about a dose of erotica, that is also present, but not in the way it has been in my earlier films. I really can't bully directors to put in an element of erotica in films I feature in.
Is your forthcoming marriage to blame for this change?
The image I portray here is a requirement of the film and the character. The character is quirky and mad, so I won't disappoint the audience. It is a sweet popcorn film that you will enjoy from start to finish. It grips you completely. It's not as if I will now be playing straight-faced roles about married men.
I don't think people would want to watch that. At the end of the day, it is the audience we are catering to. I don't think Parveen, my wife to be, would have a problem with my playing roles like these.
