'I won't disappoint the audience'

July 21, 2006
You seem to be repetitive in your character portrayal.

That is not true. This is a completely different role with different characters. I have never played a taxi driver before.

What was working with the director duo of Hasnain Hyderabadwala and Raksha Mistry like?

I have known Hasnain for some time. I was working with him as an Assistant Director to Vikram Bhatt before I began acting. I met Raksha only recently. I think they are both very talented. It is normally considered a bit difficult if you have a male-female team directing a film together. Thankfully, there were no major fights on the sets. They were very clear about what they wanted.

The music of Killer is not catching on, is it?

Music directors Sajid-Wajid have tried to give the songs a classic and soft, romantic touch. The songs are situational. I assure you the audience will love them. The music has a more traditional feel, but the remixes have generated a certain vibe. It will pick up, gradually.

What other films are you working on?

Dil Diya Hai, directed by Aditya Dutt, will be released next month. Then there is Good Boy Bad Boy with Subhash Ghai, Awarapan with the Bhatts and Trade with Hasnain S Hyderabadwala and Raksha Mistry.
