Kamli: A film dedicated to the girl child

Sunny Joseph is the director of photography, Suddhala Ashok Teja has written the lyrics, while Issac Thomas scores the music. "Sunny was the director of photography for Tiladanam and I want people who respect cinema to be involved in my efforts."
Joseph says, "I have worked with Sastry before, so the rapport is present. Kamli was a relevant story and a realistic take. I prefer films that are realistic and natural. I hope it reaches many people. Nandita Das has done a commendable job and I hope the character will be remembered."
Sastry signs off on a mournful note. "Films like these will not get distributed in the main circuit. They will only go to festivals. It is up to the media to highlight such efforts."
He hopes there are takers for Kamli and all the hard work put in by him and his team are not wasted. We hope so, too.
