The man who makes Rani glow

Mickey Contractor is one of the best makeup artistes in the film industry today. He gave Rani Mukerji her exotic new look in Chalte Chalte, made Aishwarya Rai look stunning for Kajra re and transformed Kajol with an 'undone eyebrows' look.
And yes, he's far from done, currently promising to give Priyanka Chopra a new look in Farhan Akhtar's Don. For the moment, it's all eyes on Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, where Contractor has made Rani Mukerji look classier than usual.
He chats with Ronjita Kulkarni about the business of dolling up actresses, KANK and Don. Over to Mickey:
"I have had a long association with Karan Johar’s father, the late Yash Johar. It started with Muqqadar Ka Faisla in 1987, where I was actor Akbar Khan's personal makeup artiste. I continued working with the Johars in Duplicate, then in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (where Karan had a small role), and even assisted director Aditya Chopra.
When Karan asked me to handle make-up for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, I couldn’t refuse. I have worked in all his movies.
