The plot: A Sikh policeman, Nihaal Singh (Sunny Deol), chases a terrorist (Kamaal Khan) in New York. The terrorist is trying to eliminate the American President.

The controversy: Sikh religious groups objected to the title of the film, saying it was a religious call and the filmmakers should not use it. They also objected to scantily clad women cavorting with Deol in the movie.

One man was killed and dozens injured in bomb blasts in two Delhi theatres screening the film, which forced theatres in most parts of India to stop playing the film.
