The controversy: Pakistani actress Meera's kissing scene with costar Ashmit Patel created more noise than the film did at the box-office. She claimed that Pakistani fundamentalist groups had banned her from entering Pakistan because of her intimate scenes with Ashmit.

The controversy: A public interest litigation was filed by eye doctors who claimed the screening of the film would lead to a misunderstanding that an eye donation can lead to a person seeing dead people. The court rejected the petition.
