Problems did not cease even after the film was ready. The producer could not release the film due to a financial crisis.
That's when Srikkant stepped in and contributed to the film financially, so that it released on time. "I don’t know whether any hero has done this before but I felt like doing it. The only thought that came to my mind was the plight of his family. That was the only reason why I helped him. He was my producer, and I felt it was my duty to help him in a crisis."
The fights in the film are much appreciated today but Srikkant confesses he had to work very hard.
"The fight master designed the fights with the story in mind," he says. "He created a story board, mood and a body language for the fights, and that’s why you see a mood in each fight. Apart from that, the fights look elegant.
"Yes, it was difficult doing such stunts and I was scared. But after the initial problems, I started looking at them with a positive frame of mind, and that gave me confidence. I feel happy to say that I did every single fight myself. I could do that because I trusted the master. He was more than a fight master to me as both of us started our career together with Rojakkoottam. We shared a special relationship. He treats me like a brother."
