What made Srikkant even more happy was the loud applause in the theatres after each fight. "I was thrilled with each peal of applause. I felt like going to the theatre again and again and watch the audience clap for me! It was such an exciting moment. It was only then I forgot the physical pain I went through. Each stunt was so strenuous and tough that I used to get hurt while doing them. It was a great strain, physically and mentally. Finally, when I saw people applauding, I felt it was worth it. All our hard work paid off."
The commercial success of Bose has made Srikkant more confident, and bold enough to experiment. "For the first time in my career, my film is doing well in the B and C centres too. That shows the masses have accepted me. Bose has given me more than I had expected. That's the biggest satisfaction. "
Now that Bose is a hit, he plans to 'shock' people with a love story. His next film Chathurangam with Sonia Agarwal is a contemporary love story based on a song by nationalist poet Subramania Bharati.
