Shilpa Shetty is alarmingly tall. The vivacious stunner further adds to the growing gulp in a man's throat when she tops it off with heels, and so towers intimidatingly over, well, over literally everyone present.
I caught up with her while she was obliging the shutterbugs with current international music flavour, Jay Sean, the man who cast Bipasha Basu in his latest video, and says he now plans more such 'collaborations.'
Sean, a tiny musician, stood perched eagerly on the toes of his sneakers while Shilpa obligingly slouched herself, and the two matched height. As she gave a dazzling smile, I simply asked her: How often do you have to do the 'bending'?

She burst out laughing, and said, "Very! I'm really used to it now." Agreed, but how much does the bending actually bother you? "Well, it depends. There are times when men pretend to be tall, and I have to bend. It's quite -"
We were cut-off mid sentence as the lady was pounced upon by yet another legion of camera-people, this bunch eager to snap Shilpa with Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan. As she bent her knees again towards the required slump, I caught her eye and asked the drooping Shilpa: Bothering now?
She laughed, intoxicatingly, "Very much!" and winked.
