Addressing the gathering, Health Minister Swaraj said today film actors are idols for youngsters. Gone are the days when politicians used to be the people they looked up to, she joked. "Today the role model is a Vivek Oberoi and if fans see him on screen smoking and looking good, they would want to emulate him. People may not know that he does not smoke and did it only as part of his character. "They only know the Vivek onscreen and want to look and be like him. I want to tell actors and specially directors that if they really must show people smoking, to do so in such forms that it helps create repulsion in the minds of the viewer. Do not show the nayak (the hero) take to tobacco."
