Chor Machaye Shor [Blue Streak]

David Dhawan, having run out of indigenous ideas, decided to pinch a plot from Hollywood and chose the spastic comedy Blue Streak featuring Martin Lawrence as a jewel thief who hides a stolen diamond at a construction site. He spends two years in prison and comes back to collect the booty, only to discover that there is now a police station at the site he had hidden the precious stone.

Dhawan miscast Bobby Deol and worse, gave this plot a Golmaal twist thereby expecting the non-actor to execute a double role. Not surprising then that Chor Machaye Shor fell flat on its face and added another dud to Dhawan's recent flop record.
