Anoushka Shankar
The daughter of sitar maestro Ravi Shankar and half-sister of Grammy Award-winning singer Norah Jones, Anoushka took up the sitar as a child and recorded her first album at 16. Today a Grammy nominee and accomplished musician in her own right, she has performed with heavyweights like Sting and Jethro Tull and was the first Indian ever to perform at the Grammies in 2006.
