Indus Chenin Blanc

June 9, 2008
Rs 420* per bottle.

A big, bold white, this chenin blanc may not be for every one, particularly those who like their whites extra-sweet. True, it finishes with a touch of sweetness, but it's one of the more dry offerings found in India. It's sharp and crisp in the mouth, with strong alcohol and fruit overtones. It'll go best with vegetarian and fish dishes, preferably in the cool weather of the monsoon season.

At over 14 per cent ABV, this is one of India's strongest white wines. The bottle requires an opener.
