Sula Late Harvest Chenin Blanc

June 9, 2008
Rs 275* per bottle.

This dessert wine from Sula has been around for quite some time (since 2005). But chances are you have never sampled it -- and you must!

Fairly sweet with very pleasant and interesting crisp, fruity overtones -- reminding you of cider, fruit orchards and more -- it is meant to be sipped delicately after a meal. But it is such a lovely, smooth and superior wine, with a golden glow, you might well like to have it before your meal too, chilled like an apertif. Goes exceedingly well with a snack of cheese and crackers. Comes in the much smaller 375 ml bottles.

It requires a cork-opener. Its ABV is 14 per cent.
