Love Guru answers, Do you love her? Is it just this irritating habit of hers that is getting to you? If you love her you need to tell her that you cannot talk on the phone quite as much as she'd like, which does not mean that you do not love her. If you don't love her and are just whiling away your time, leave her at once. Don't play around with someone else's feelings for your own selfish reasons.

joe asked, hi i was engaged to a girl (arranged marriage), 3 days before marriage the girl said she loves someone else and canceled the marriage and also got married to that other guy. we were together for 3 months, she did not say anything then. i am badly hurt. please suggest something

Love Guru answers, Joe, I can understand that you are hurt but cxonsider yourself lucky that the marriage didn't go through. The girl loved someone else and would not have been committed to you as a wife should be. Moreover, you only knew her for three months...but she shouldn't have waited till only three days before the wedding and embarrassed you like this. Don't worry, you'll find someone else.

Love Guru answers, How old are you? And why are your family members against it? I don't think anyone should get married before they're old enough to know what they want. Would you have gotten married at 18? Let the girl grow up a bit and decide for herself whether she wants to marry you.

Now listen, you need to talk to somebody about this and it would be best to see a psychiatrist. Don't make excuses for your boyfriend -- if he cared for you a lot, he wouldn't do this to you! They are both to blame for letting you down so badly. If you want to, talk to your father about it, or to a friend who you trust but be sure to seek professional help. Bottling up your feelings like this is frustrating you. And remember, it's their fault, not yours, so don't even think of harming yourself!

Love Guru answers, I'm not sure what you've written here -- did you ask for dowry from her to marry her? Or did she want to marry someone with more money? If it's the first instance, you're to blame and if it's the second, she's to blame -- in any case, she has made up her mind, so the best thing for you to do is move on!

Love means forgiving and compromise and if she is attracted to someone else it's her duty to at least let you know! Tell her she's a spineless coward for behaving like this and that you want nothing further to do with her. And stick to your word!
