Maravanthe: A quiet beach getaway
My wife and I had planned a Goa trip, but things didn't work out for various reasons. Since we wanted to go to a place by the beach, we finally zeroed in on Maravanthe beach.
It is 50 km from Udupi on the west coast of Karnataka.
• Airfare for Rs 599 and less!
We stayed at the Turtle Bay Beach Resort.
We took the 11 pm KSRTC Airavat Volvo bus from Bangalore and reached Mangalore at 8 am the next morning. One can also take a direct bus from Bangalore to Kundapur, the nearest bus stand. We couldn't get tickets on that bus
