ICICI Prudential Life Insurance is hiring
ICICI Prudential Life has big hiring plans. The organisation plans to hire over 10,000 employees -- at the entry level as well as experienced professionals -- in this financial year.

Judhajit Das, Chief HR, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, tells Richa Pant about the company's recruitment plans:

"Our employees will play a critical role in bringing alive our growth strategy. In this financial year, we are looking at hiring over 10,000 employees across the country," says Das.

Hiring period: "ICICI Prudential Life hires people throughout the year," he says.

Positions available: "ICICI Prudential Life is looking at strengthening its presence across the country and across functions. Hence, our requirements range from increasing our sales force to our service support structure. A bulk of our hiring will be for the entry and middle level in the sales function," he says.

Opportunities for freshers: "We provide opportunities for individuals of any experience level. We have a large number of openings for freshers. In fact, we have partnered with business schools across the country to introduce a one-year specific programme on management and insurance, known as PGPMI. Students are guaranteed a job with ICICI Prudential Life at the end of the programme," says Das.

"We dedicate a significant amount of resources in training our staff to understand the nuances of life insurance. We do not look for individuals with a finance background or mathematical skills in particular; we want people who have a passion to learn and to make a difference," he says.

"Freshers, in particular, can look at becoming financial service consultants, unit managers, etc," he says.
