The magic and mystery of Arunachal Pradesh
As we left Tawang town and began climbing up, the road was steep and rough. We had to stop at the Maratha Grounds to register the license plate of our vehicle for security reasons. The army has its acclimatisation camp here for jawans bound for more difficult terrain.
We drove past Pankang Teng Lake (also call P T Tso) to reach the more beautiful Sangester Lake, now popularly called Madhuri Lake, thanks to the shooting of the Hindi film Koyla here with Madhuri Dixit and Shah Rukh Khan.
