Here, 26-year-old language trainer Anubha Pandey shares her story:
I recently married a naval officer and moved to my first home with my husband. As any newlyweds we were also looking forward to setting up our home. We did not do any griha pravesh or puja for the house. Our major concerns were plumbing, electricity and the likes.
My husband got busy with his office and I got busy with trying my hand at cooking. Little by little we started noticing some energy around us. I would always feel someone following me around the house. Never for a moment did I feel alone in my husband's absence. Initially I put this down to adjusting in my new environment and a new situation. It was only during a conversation with my husband did I realise that he felt the same.
For some odd reason I would hear the bell ring late night and I would feel that someone has come to meet me. In fact, twice I made my husband open the door just in case! My husband did not hear any ringing bells. On the other hand he would feel someone trying to soothe the physical pain of his legs when he would come home tired in the evenings.
One incident that left me a little freaked out was when in the afternoon I went to the kitchen. The light was switched off and I was thinking to myself that the kitchen looks much brighter with the light on. I turned around to leave the kitchen when lo and behold, the light was turned on! I still get goose bumps thinking about it.
Another incident is this dream that I had of my dead uncle standing outside our bedroom window and calling me. He wanted me to go with him while I kept saying no. My husband has asked me to shake off the dream if I am to have it again and never respond to any such request.
I have always loved reading about ghost stories and the likes. However, I am not one to feel any energies around me. This is the first time I have had such an experience. My husband, meanwhile, feels and can pick such energies. He tells me that it's a positive energy whatever it is. I would like to believe him because nothing untoward has happened so far.
I feel very safe and happy in my home. In fact I wouldn't be exaggerating if I say I feel blessed. Even as I type all this out I can feel someone standing and reading this over my shoulder -- I post this mail with this someone's approval.
