I think it is a lady's spirit that is haunting me. Maybe she wants to convey something and needs help etc. However, this definitely does not trouble me. This is my story:

You must be aware of the anklets that are worn by ladies, the ones that make a lot of sound. I can hear this sound sometimes in middle of the night, but when I open my eyes the sound goes.

One day it so happened that, when I heard the noise I kept my ears open and not the eyes. Then suddenly my bed sheet was dragged from my body. When I opened my eyes, no one was there. My dogs were also fast asleep.

Sometimes I even dream of scary ladies, who want to convey something to me.

One night, I was sleeping with my mother and my dog was with us (the other was kept outside the house). I heard the sound of the anklets as if the spirit was coming to me from the kitchen. Just then, my dog ran near the kitchen door and started barking at someone. Just then my mother woke up and put on the lights and then everything was normal again.

Another night, I was about to sleep and wanted to make the sign of the Cross (Christian god's sign) so that the evil was kept away from me. But, surprisingly, I could not. There was some force that was preventing me from making that sign. This happened to me twice.

After this, I (who never used to pray) started praying, started lighting diyas in my house and would play hymns in my house every morning and evening. With this slowly the spirit has kept away from me, though I still don't know who she is.
