Colours and colour contrasts
~ Bright colours should be coupled with monotones, else it will look too loud.
~ Avoid a colour combination like a pink top with black trousers, especially if you have a dark complexion. Opt for pink with grey or white. Avoid pairing two loud colours together.
~ To look your best wear, clothing colours that will complement your skin. Wearing the wrong colours will make the lines and wrinkles on your skin more evident. The right colours will make you look more vibrant and healthy.
~ The other colour contrasts that are suitable for dusky skin tones are:
a. A monochromatic contrast -- coupling a colour with its own shades, eg brown with shades of browns.
b. Pairing neutral palates like white, brown, rust, beige, olive green, etc; these colours go with all skin tones.
