8. Caesar Salad
I can hear your shocked minds thinking, "How could this be unhealthy? It is a salad and, therefore, low fat and low calorie, isn't it?"
We dieters go to a restaurant and decide to pass the normal menu items and order a Caesar salad, smiling at our health consciousness.
The outcome? We should have just ordered the burger.
How unhealthy a Caesar salad is depends on the ingredients: the kind of meat that is used, the amount of croutons that are added, etc.
Unfortunately, the one ingredient that is always used in a Caesar salad is Caesar salad dressing. At a whopping 135 calories per 25 gram serving, it is not the healthiest way to go.
A better option would be to order a salad and ask for an olive oil dressing or lemon juice on the side.
Remember, dress your salad, don't submerge it.
