7. Pasta

True, pasta is nearly fat-free, and can definitely be a part of your diet. In moderation, that is.

The problem is, pasta comes in at a whopping 50 grams of carbohydrates per 200 grams serving. It has a measly amount of fibre. And when consumed in moderation, it is not likely to leave you satiated and smiling.

Add a portion of low-calorie vegetables, like broccoli or cauliflower, to the pasta. This will add vitamins and minerals plus fibre to this dish. And you will increase its nutritional value and make it more filling.
