Tropical Colada
No one ever tires of mangoes, especially of the alphonso.
This high energy drink is for for children and office-goers.
~ Ingredients
4 to 5 mangoes, preferably alphonsos
1 glass coconut milk
½ cup water
1 tsp sugar
A pinch of cardamom powder
2 tsp crushed ice
~ Method
Skin the mangoes and chop into pieces.
Grate coconut, blend with lukewarm water and strain to collect the milk.
Blend the mango pieces, coconut milk, water and sugar in a mixer.
Pour into a wine glass or champagne flute and top with crushed ice.
Garnish with cardamom power.
Nutrition notes: Mangoes are full of Vitamins A and C. They are excellent for children.
However, if you have sugar problems, it is best to avoid this fruit.
