Shah Rukh Khan
We did a photoshop effect on this picture. We made the briefcase transparent and put a fish tank instead to make it look humorous and bizarre.
We had to do some experimenting with the background and image because the briefcase covered his legs, but here, you can see his legs through the fish tank.
If you are going to office, you should wear a suit and carry a briefcase. Only in this case, the briefcase is a fish tank. It's a feel-good picture, shot in (SRK's home) Mannat's lawns.
Shah Rukh is super-intelligent! The kind of convictions he has -- he knows that Dabboo will do a good job. He didn't even care to look at the computer to see how the picture turned out. He just wanted to see the final product.
He will never try to interfere or argue. He will go as far as you do. If you want sunglasses, he'll give you 15 types and ask you to choose. He always gives the photographer a free hand. Though Shah Rukh is very busy, he makes time for my calendar every year.
Earlier, I shot a picture of him from the rear view mirror of a car. Even though he is a superstar, he does not care to be larger in the picture. He's very tiny in that picture. You may not even realise it's him.
I shot the war portions of his film, Asoka. I was doing the stills and documentation of the film. SRK is very helpful. He was not only worried about his look but also how Kareena Kapoor would ride the horse, how the production will look etc. He has a lot of concern for everyone. Even for Chalte Chalte, he was helping Aziz Mirza and Rani Mukerji a lot. He's very involved in what he does.
